Librarians Without Borders is an entirely volunteer-run organization. Our operating costs are kept to the minimum required to run a non-profit corporation. To support our work with donations, please use the Paypal link below.
You can also send donations via cheque/check. E-mail email@example.com and we will provide the mailing address.
Become an Individual Member
Membership in Librarians Without Borders (LWB) is available to individuals at no cost in Canada and abroad who share our vision of improving access to information resources, regardless of language, geography, or religion, by forming partnerships with community organizations in specific areas of need.
By becoming a member, you will not only receive the benefits listed below, but more importantly you can play a role in building an organization that strives to empower communities across the globe through the critical provision of libraries.
Benefits of membership include:
- Voting rights within the organization
- A subscription to our mailing list
- Special invitations to our events

Become an Institutional Partner
Institutional partnerships are also available. LIS Schools and other organizations should contact LWB to discuss partnership options and needs. Some of the benefits to an LIS school might include: access to LWB internships, curriculum materials for internationalizing LIS courses, guest speakers, professional development workshops, bulk memberships for students, and promotion of institution through LWB communication channels. Institutional partners do not have voting rights.
Wear Your Support
Support our work and sport pride in our mission by purchasing merchandise through our Skreened store. All Skreened garments are made in the USA or from ethical sources, and their printing process uses environmentally-friendly, water-based inks. Proceeds support Librarians Without Borders.
