  • CUSO (Canadian University Service Overseas)
    A Canadian based volunteer-sending organization that focuses on poverty reduction, human rights, inclusive governance, HIV/AIDS prevention & support, and environmental sustainability. While the volunteers are primarily Canadian, CUSO also strives to include volunteers from Southern nations to promote sharing of knowledge across borders. Volunteer opportunities are also available within Canada.

  • American Library Association International Exchanges Committee
    This committee collects and disseminates information about libraries and library professionals seeking exchanges and study visit programs throughout the world. A series of documents and announcements regarding international opportunities are also provided.

  • Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) Canada and United Kingdom
    Voluntary Service Overseas is an international development agency operating through volunteers in an effort to combat poverty through the sharing of skills, creativity and learning. VSO recruits, trains and matches volunteers from North America, the Netherlands, India, Bahaginan, Jitolee and the UK with international partners.

    Provides volunteers from NZ to work with local people in developing countries towards sustainable development.

  • Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO)
    CESO seeks to “build capacity in governance and economic development through the transfer of knowledge and skills by Volunteer Advisors”. Volunteer Advisors provide mentoring, training and advice to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Canadian organizations, as well as African, Asian, Caribbean, Central and South American and Eastern European organizations.

  • COADY Youth in Partnership Program
    The COADY Youth in Partnership Program provices an opportunity for university students to work with development organizations in their particular area of expertise. The interns work for six months overseas with one of the partner institutes in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
