Advocates free and open source software (FOSS) use in libraries in
developing and transition countries, through raising awareness, building
networks of FOSS advocates and promoting understanding of FOSS. eIFL-FOSS
has also created a project supporting the evaluation of a FOSS integrated
library system (ILS).
