Librarians without Borders (LWB) is an incorporated non-profit organization, but because we do not yet have charitable status, we cannot issue official donation receipts for income tax purposes. We plan to apply for charitable status in the future.

We will of course respect the wishes of those donors who prefer to give without recognition. We recommend printing the "How to Donate" form and checking the box next to "Check this box if you do not wish to have your name published."

LWB does not accept unsolicited books donations. However, if you have books that are relevant to one of our projects, please contact us regarding the details.

The following sample organizations do accept book donations. *Please note the donation policy for each organization.

Contacting your local Friends Of The Public Library is another means of donating books because they often hold book sales in support of the library.

Donor Financial Reports enhance Librarians Without Borders' accountability to its donors. They are designed to help donors understand how their investment in LWB is being managed and provide accountability in the most transparent way for our donors. Donor Financial Reports are distributed to those who have donated over $50 CAD.

Librarians Without Borders respects the privacy of our donors. The personal information that you provide to LWB will be used to provide receipts, to contact you regarding your gift, and to keep you informed about other LWB events and activities.
