U of Toronto Student Committee: itea 4 November: Mark Farahani

The Librarians Without Borders U of T Student Committee is pleased to present a talk by Mark Farahani, an independent ICT entrepreneur from Tanzania. Mr. Farahani has set up a unique telecentre in Rural Tanzania which provides many Tanzanian farmers and villagers their only connection to the digital world. Please join us for tea, snacks and discussion on November 4th to discuss Mr. Farahani’s efforts to alleviate “ICT poverty” and the challenges faced by developing countries.
